Based on that information, it would appear that if you have a PC with MS
Works installed and you want to install a full Office version, it's
neccessary just to remove MSWord before installing OfficeXP or 2003 (or
whatever).  It's not Works which is conflicting, but the part of MSOffice
which comes with it as standard.  AFAIK, Works and Word are not integrated -
they are separate installations - so it should be possible to remove Word
without any problem (and still be able to use Works if required).
