[mso] Named range tips (was Performing Calculations Using IF or VLOOKUP)

Another cool tip about named ranges, Michele...if you are like me, you will
eventually end up with many named ranges within a document and sometimes you
can't remember the exact name.

So, let's say I wanted to add a named range to a formula....type in the
formula and when you get to the part where you want to add the named range,
just hit the F3 key and a Paste Range box comes up...just double click on
the range you want to insert into the formula and there it is...no need to
chance typing the range name manually and accidentally misspelling it and
getting an error. :-)

You are right.....naming a range makes calculations so much easier because
when you do the copy and paste, since the reference is relative, it causes
you to have to edit each expression in each cell to substitute the correct
reference.

I have been reading over your last two articles in Tech Trax about If
statements and VLOOKUP and have found them very useful. I look forward to
your next articles.

Thanks,
