Hi,
I have been trained in VBA, basic to advance of office applications
ranging from word, excel and access.
It will be tough if you never use them before but if you press on,
things should be easier. The most difficult one from what I can se
people struggling when it comes to using a screen reader is MS access.
It's a nightmare when it comes to form creation, creating the specific
field, objects etc. as for the sighted point of view, they just drag it
along and put it where they think it will look nice. But as for us, we
need to draw picture in our mind using pixels, inches which screen
reader give us.
I have been trained in office 2000 and XP but not in 2003 but it
shouldn't be that different.
All you need is to get familiar with things, hotkeys of your screen
reader by reading the manual which will help hips.
The guys here should be able to help you as you go along or read at this
site=20
http://www.accesstechnologyinstitute.com/
It have some free tuitorial, some real basic ones but it should be able
to get you going somewhere.
Or read those shortcut keys at
www.microsoft.com/enable
hth
Best & regards,

Subject: [mso] Ms Office 2003 tips, tricks, and suggestions
Hi.
will be using ms office xp 2003 for my it course at my college this
semester.
will be using jaws 6.
does any one be able to give me tips, tricks, and how to configure the
ms
office applications to work to its optimum with jaws?
which wizards work really well, and which do not?
and if there are any scripts developed by members, besides the normal
scripts shipped with jaws, then would like to hear any members
experience
with using advanced features of ms office xp 2003 and using windows
2000.
so if this is too off topic for this list, then e-mail me privately off
list.
cheers Marvin.
