Hi Paul. Well, you know I'm a total mouse gal, but I was just playing
around in a form and I sure do see your problem. I can see and it's
hard for me to get around inside it without using my mouse. I can only
imagine what's its like for you.
So far, what I've found is that if you have a textbox selected, you can
hit ctrl+r, which will select the entire form instead of just the
textbox, so that DOES get you out of the header or footer or whatever
part of the form you are stuck in. Once you have the entire form
selected, the tab key will move you through the parts of the form, from
the header to the details section to the footer, and back to the header
again. However, that's where I get stuck. I can't figure out how to
select a textbox within any of those selections, but I'm thinking you
already know how to do that since you had one selected in the first
place.
Geeez. Access is bad enough when you can see. It must be a bear for
you, Paul.
Anyway. Hope this maybe got you started. And hopefully someone in here
who uses Access more than me, can help you navigate through the design
of a form, using a keyboard. This was all I could figure out.
And stop apologizing for asking. That's what we are all here for. To
ask AND answer...and hopefully to learn from both.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY

Hi All,
Apologies for asking you but if you could help it would be great.
I know how to place a text box in a header/footer of a form in design
view of access
but I don't know how to exit the text box to get back up to the
toolbars.
How do I rearrange fields in design view. I am able to select and move
them
in the data sheet view but I can't seem to select in design view.
I'm not even sure I am asking this question right. I use a screen
reader so keystrokes would be what I need if possible but if there
are no keystrokes available then please tell me as I am probably
looking for a needle in a haystack here.
Paul.
