Hi Bob ---- I'm not really sure what LDAP is, but I found this for you to
read:
http://www.gracion.com/server/whatldap.html
Also here's a Microsoft page that talks about a fix for LDAP errors in
Office 2002...not sure if it applies to you but maybe reading it will give
you some insight:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=323612
And yes, Outlook is DEFINITELY part of Office....it's included in every
version of Office since Office 97
Good luck
Linda

Subject: [mso] Microsoft LDAP Directory
Hi All,
I just loaded Microsoft Office 2003 to my Pentium 4, Windows XP. (Upgrading
from MS2000). Every thing went well except, when I open MS Outlook 2003 I
get a popup window asking for connection details for Microsoft LDAP
Directory. Can someone tell me what this is and if not required how to get
rid of the popup window.
I hope this is the right group, I'm not sure Microsoft Outlook is considered
part of Microsoft Office.
Thanks for Listening.
Bob McMahon
