Definitely Robert. =20
Once you import your data, you make a form for viewing data. The form
can have controls that allow viewing only.
You could also link Excel to the "new" file so others could see the data
in a format they are more comfortable with and they wouldn't be able to
change it either. =20
There are several options.=20

Subject: [mso] Make records in access editable, but NOT allow new
records?
Hello. An Excel (Excel 2000) file contains records that are beginning to
get out of control for me (too many!), and I wonder if is possible to do
this things in Access:
Can the Access data file be kept at "editable" but *no* new records can
be added? Possible?
Thank you.
Robert
