I just published an eBook that walks you through learning how to write
VBA in Word. Much of it will be similar for Excel...the basics. Once you
have an idea what it's all about, you then have to learn to use it
within the application you want. I believe I explain how VBA works in an
easy to understand way. This book is from my online classes. The new
classes start Sept 1. Folks here have taken my Word AutoForm & VBA class
and they were writing some pretty impressive code after a few weeks.

I also have a lot of free tutorials on my site. Go to www.mousetrax.com
and check out TechPage (see the Word AutoForms which includes free
lessons in using VBA in Word)...click the TechTrax for more helpful
articles...and check out TechClasses and TechBooks for further info on
my book and classes.

And if you want to specifically learn Excel VBA, I have some of John
Walkenbach's books liked on my TechBooks page. They're great books!

Good luck!

How does one go about learning how to build macros? I have tried
to read the help files in Excel and I'm just to thick for it the stick
in
my head or understand. Is there a tutorial some place?
