It depends on how the lines were put in there. Turn on your hidden characters and see what symbol you see when you have the blank = lines...if it's a backwards P, then you can use find/replace to find ^p^p and = replace it with ^p ... Just hit Replace All and that will remove all the = instances where you hit the Enter key twice to get a blank line Or, if you see a bent arrow pointing to the left...that's a manual line break and you can use find/replace to find ^l and replace it with = nothing (l is a lowercased L) If find/replace isn't good enuf and you still want a macro to do it, = just turn on your macro recorder before you open the find/replace dialog box = and record it.
