[mso] Re: MS Word question

Hitting the Enter key is NOT necessary if that feature is turned on. If
yours isn't capitalizing when you hit the space key AFTER a period,
SandyLea, then it's YOURS that is working incorrectly and not theirs. The
option says to captalize the first letter of a sentence. Typing a period
then hitting a space designates the beginning of a new sentence, not hitting
the Enter key...that designates the beginning of a new paragraph.

Are you both using the same version of Word? The proper spacing for
documents now is one space at the end of a sentence, however it used to be
TWO spaces, so if you have an older version, maybe you don't see the caps
until you hit the spacebar two times. But, in the newer versions, hitting
the space key one time after a period causes the first letter of the next
word you type to be capitalized.

to her house today and see check her settings but I just bet she is hitting
the enter key and is not aware of it, I asked her several times are you sure
you don't hit the enter key when you come to the end of a sentence, she said
NO, but.... maybe she is doing it and not aware, thank for you information,
SandyLea
