Yes, by default Word capitalizes the next word whenever you type a period
and hit a space, becuz it thinks it's a new sentence. If it's not happening
for you, then you have the AutoCorrect option turned off...to turn it on, go
to Tools>AutoCorrect Options and put a check where it says "Capitalize first
letter of sentences"....If your friends want to turn it off, tell them to go
there and remove the check.

Subject: [mso] MS Word question
I don't have this problem but have two friends having this problem, they say
when they type a paragraph that when the computer starts a new line it
always capitalizes the new line, I told them I thought they might be hitting
the enter key at the end of each sentence but they both deny they are doing
this, so my question is that possible for them to not hit "enter" and have
each new line be capitalized?
I tried to duplicate the problem on my computer but never have it happen
unless I use the enter key at the end of each line. Suggestions on how I
can pinpoint the problem?
Thanks SandyLea
