Have you tried moving the document to a different location, then try to open it from there? Linda ********************************* Linda F. The document wasn't saved anywhere else, just on a network drive, (I know, I know, always have a back-up). I have tried opening "word" then using the "open" dialogue box (with open and repair). Even navigating to the saved location and opening gives the same error message. I can't think of anything else to do John ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu at the top.
