One solution would be to save of copy of the document in plain text format
(.txt). It would warn you, but then save just the text and none of the tables.
Other than that, what screen reader are you using?

Subject: [mso] MS Word: Removing tables from documents!
Hi All,
Just wondered if there is a way to remove tables from a large document I
have. The tables are so numerous in it that it is clogging up my reading
with a screen reader. I am using Office 2003.
Many thanks,
Paul.
