[mso] MS Word Question

Good Morning:
My questions concerns MS Word. Whenever I select a section of text in a
document and select bold, MS Word bolds the entire document. I then
have to select undo and MS Word un-bolds the entire document, and the
text I originally wanted to bold remains as bold. This is also true for
many other functions I choose. If I choose to center selected text, MS
Word centers all the text in the document. If I choose to underline
selected text, MS Word underlines the entire document.
And so on and so on...... Any help with this is greatly appreciated as
I spend most of my day with MS Word and Power Point, and I have not been
able to find anyone in my company that can figure this one out.
Thanks - Walter
