Peter,
The way that I do labels is using word and mailmerge. All my data is in
excel files and I have templates for all the label sizes that I use. The
templates have a table into which I can merge the data. Once it is set up it
is very flexible.
There is no limit to the way that the labels can be formatted, pictures,
lines shapes colours can be used when and where one wants. If you merge the
results to a file you can also save documents containing labels that you use
a lot.
You can also use the templates to manually enter data for individual labels
placing the data wherever you want.
Regards
Ian Elliott

Are you just saying you want the return address on the label to be
underlined? If so, after you set up the label, instead of clicking the
Print button, click the New Document button. Then select all and hit the
Underline button. Then print from there.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding?
Now I REALLY need to get back in my hole! So someone else will have to
help you more if I misunderstood.
