Highlight the word or text, then click on the Hyperlink button on your
toolbar of go to Insert>Hyperlink ... When the Hyperlink box comes up, click
on the button that says "Remove link"

I would like to know how eliminate words turning into hyper links.
I can change the color of the word to black and remove the underline and it
is still a hyper link.
