Thomas, I use Outback Plus to backup all my Outlook files, settings and even
IE settings. It is relatively quick and restores like a charm, I can assure
you from experience :-):

Subject: [mso] Re: MS Outlook 2002 default address book resolve but another
question
Latest update about my issue on Outlook not showing or unable to display =
my contact folder as the default address book. Glad to say, its resolve.
What I did is, get rid of the outlook profile which its having problem,
create a new 1 and create all those email accounts again. It's a real =
pain but better than living without my address book.
Then again, thanks for all your suggestions, at least it work somehow = and
somewhere.
Now with a quick question, how do you backup all your accounts?
Import and export feature only import in but not export account settings
out. Do I hve to search into registries like before?? :p I am just curious
if I miss something as to back myself up just in case = I need to create all
my email account again.
Sorry Linda for this little offtopic question, last but not least, since =
you don't recommend spam inspector as its being bought over and the quality
drop, what's your recommendation? Something similar?=20 Have you tried
ihatespam? Seem that it look quite alike. You know, its = hard to teach a
dog new trick.

The import solution seem to be getting nowhere for me.
1. if I try to import within Outlook, it will say its been use or =
something unless I export the folder out and import it in but just
thinking, it = will not do any good. It will be just a folder, not the
address book of = Outlook.
2. the window address book or the address book is not showing anything, = so
there's nothing I can export out.
3. I just read the email of yours about freelist upgrading today, so I =
will just take it it's a day ago which I will be able to check later for
me = and my timezone.
Thanks for your help

You don't import it from the address book....go into your Inbox, then go =
to the File menu and choose Import and Export....choose Import from another
program or file...then choose your Personal Address Book....or you could
export your Windows Address Book as a csv file, then choose to import a =
csv file in Outlook.
Keywords to search the archives might be outlook contacts, outlook =
contacts missing, outlook address book, etc...unfortunately, freelists seems
to = be having some problems at the moment and I'm getting an error when I
try = to get to our archives, so I can't search them for you right now.
We are having a major snowstorm at the moment so I'm shutting down all = my
computers for the day. Good luck

Not sure if I got this correct, are you saying I can import the entries of
the addressbook to outlook?
If that's the case, there's no entry in the address book to import. Just
plain empty.
If I would search the archive, what's the keyword or some clue I should put
on the ssearch string? I meant, the archive is huge, it could take days if I
got no clue :)=3D20
Or anyone who is involve in this subject in the past should step out and
give me some clue on how ot find the message related.
thanks
