[mso] Re: MS Outlook

Here's one way. Someone else may have a better way. Create a shortcut on
the desktop by right-clicking the desktop. Select new>shortcut. It'll
prompt you for a path. Enter the path to your Outlook executable in
quotes, then a space\selectoutlook:\\calendar

If Outlook is on your C Drive in Program Files it may look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Outlook.exe" /select
outlook:\\calendar

The next prompt asks for a name. Name it something like Outlook
Calendar. Voila! Now when your wife wants to use the calendar have her
open the shortcut. It goes right to the calendar. 

I found the switches in the Help file by entering
'Control what happens when you start Outlook'
in the Search box. The switch for the calendar is at the bottom of the
listings. You can use the switch to open any folder, like maybe
Contacts.

How do I set Outlook 2000 to open in the calendar every time it is 
opened?  I have it for my wife and that is all she will use it for.
