[mso] MS Office Upgrade or New purchase

Hi guys,
I guess this is a licencing issue (I was going to ask MS but at $35 per 
question, I demured).

I have a five year old machine with Office 2k installed. I want to scrap the 
machine and get a new one. I would like to install Office 2003 on the new one. 
How can I purchase and install an UPGRADE version of Office for the new 
machine? Seems like I am being cheated if I have to purchase a new licence.
