[mso] MS Office 2007 Trial Version

My daughter has a college student friend that has a student/trial version of
MS Office Pro 2007. He has an older computer with XP Pro, SP2, AMD proc
1.05GHz, 512 RAM with 13 gigs free on the HD which is only a 20 Gig. When
trying to install the software the first time it came back saying there was
an error and exited. The second time it seemed to crunch for a long time
with no indication on the status bar. I told it to leave the current
version of Office 2003 on the computer. I told it not to install Outlook
2007. I also added a "2007" after the default location for the files since
it was the same as Office 2003. I did not create the new folder before hand
thinking MS could figure that out since it wasn't there it should be
created.

Other than that, can anyone give me some things to try to get this version
installed?

Thanks George
