[mso] Re: Loop in PowerPoint

Hi Ray.

Try this combination in Slide Show/Set Up Show

Show Options/Loop continuously until ESC and Advance Slides/Use timings if
present

It's been a while so forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe this is the same
as Browsed at Kiosk which will start after 5 minutes inactive

To make it work, on the slides you want to do with a mouse click give them a
timing beyond what you'd use when clicking the mouse then in Slide
Transition, choose On Mouse and Automatically After

This will run the show all the way without your intervention should you get
distracted but also allows you to mouse when you want to

hope this helps. /g

Subject: [mso] Loop in PowerPoint

Hi Group,

In PowerPoint 2002, I want to show ten slides in a semi-automatic show. The
first three slides should advance manually (by my pressing a key), then
slides four through ten should appear without further manual intervention
for three seconds each, followed by an endless loop back through slides four
through ten.

I know how to make a continuously looping show. I know how to vary the
screen duration of individual slides. I don't know how to combine a manual
show with an automatic one.

Running Office 2002 Pro on WinXP Home.

Thanks for the help.

Ray Shapp
