[mso] Re: Limitation of ORs, Excel XP

More than 7 Ifs are OK, but there is a maximum of 7 NESTED ones. It's
like those Russian dolls. You can only get 7 dolls inside the big one,
but if you have more big ones...

Subject: [mso] Re: Limitation of ORs, Excel XP

Arising from this post I have a query regarding the 'IF' function. I
recently changed to Office XP 2003 and previously had a limit of 7 'IF'
uses within a cell. However I recently used a spreadsheet and had more
than ten 'IF' options in the cell and it worked fine. Was it just a
fluke or does anyone know whether the amount has been increased?

Regards

Ian
