Re: difficult to accidentally change.
While in MsWord, select Format --> Font
Choose the font that you want, such as HAM-16point,
then click the
'default..'
button at the bottom left of the Font popup.
All new documents will use this font as the default font.

Can I choose a fixed width font for Word that an elderly person can read
(she can't tell the difference between I (eyes), l (els), and O (ohs) & 0
(zeroes) in such a way that it won't get changed by her by accident or her
family? I.e., which fixed font do you suggest for a sight challenged person,
and how do I make it difficult to change so it doesn't get changed on her?
