NOTE that uninstalling/reinstalling Word (or most any app) RARELY fixes
problems since, unless you wipe all system files (which doesn't happen in
uninstalls), then you will NOT get a fully fresh version and the problems
won't be solved.

Granted...there are those occasions when it helps. But if other docs are not
displaying corruption, the likely problem is a font or that particular doc
and taking time to uninstall/reinstall will most likely be a waste of time.

If anything...use the Detect and Repair feature under Help...it will do a
lot more than removing/reinstalling.

If you have nothing better to do...feel free to give it a shot. But know
that the odds that this will solve your problems are slim. 

Try opening the doc on another PC. Does it still show up with problems. If
so, then you will KNOW it is not that one PC...but rather the document or a
problem font.
