[mso] Is there an EASY way to create a data input form for Excel?

Hello everyone! As usual (it seems) I am in a difficult position of having to do
something far quicker than I would like. This time, I have to create a 'data
entry form' for people to use in order to complete a spreadsheet created in
Excel. I have looked at various visual basic editor solutions but while I would
love to get to grips with this I fear I do not have the time!I have been given
a completed Excel file which in my view is very poorly executed because a new
user opening the file is confronted with a mass of cells, each of which are
totally unprotected and open to alterations, deletions etc, and there is no way
for a new user to easily pick out what data he has to enter. I hoped there is
an easy way to create a separate form in which the cells requiring input are
listed from top to bottom with a text box alongside where the user types
whatever is appropriate. Having completed the list, the entries would then be
transferred to the Excel sheet and the formulas etc would
then work their magic.Initially I thought Excel may offer something similar to
Word's Form / Text Form Field (where the rest of the sheet is locked and
protected from inadvertent changes) allowing the user to tab from one cell to
another but it appears there is no such option. After looking for solutions I
have come to the realization that a 'visual basic input form' is what is
required but I have not found simple instructions for creating such an animal.
Can someone please direct me to a 'Simple as 1,2,3,' type tutorial for this, or
better still can I copy and paste a prebuilt form into my Excel workbook?I am
sorry to ask such a long question but hopefully I have adequately described
what I am seeking. I have to try to fix this up by Monday so time is against
me, here in Australia it is already Thursday mid-day!Thanks for any assistance
offered,Best wishes, Roger
