You can only get the button back if Adobe Acrobat (NOT Acrobat Reader)
is installed on the new computer. She had the application installed on
her old computer, she may not have it installed on her new one....

Yes. Installed it.
File / Print / Adobe Distiller works fine.
BUT, turns out she has Adobe 5.
May be the problem trying to get the "button" as a "shortcut".
