Here are a couple of things to check out, if you haven't already. Are the photos 'inline' or 'in front to text'. If inline, you may want to try changing the format to 'in front of text'. Also, in tools/options/view, ensure the picture placeholder is unchecked. Here is a link that is very helpful, though it focuses on rotated graphics, it discusses the placeholder and other versions of word. http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/DrwGrphcs/RotatedInline.htm Hope this helps. When I open the file in Word 2002, I see only place holders for the images. I opened this same file on two other computers, both of which are running Word 2003, and the images display normally on those PCs. Because I do all my editing (for a small newsletter) on the older PC running Word 2002, it doesn't help to see the images on the other computers. I tried saving this file from the Word2003 computer using "Word 97-2003 & 6.0/95 - RTF (*.doc)" format, but the images still don't display on my older PC. I was able to extract the images using the Word2002 PC by saving as HTML file format, therefore, I could reconstruct the document, however, the original is elaborately formatted. Reconstruction would be a lot of work. Can you suggest a way to cause the imagers to render correctly on my Word2002 PC? Thanks for the help.
