Hi, Without going into too much boring detail, let me put to the group a
suggestion an auditor made yesterday! During a comprehensive audit of our
Quality System, I was caught out for not having kept up to date a register of
documents, which records document titles, dates of issue, revision numbers,
etc. Some of the dates were not up to date!! The auditor suggested - maybe
there is a way to get the date column to update automatically whenever the
subject document is itself changed, by means of a hyperlink??? I can see the
point he is making, but cannot imaging how it could be done. If anyone has any
ideas and can point me to a possible solution I am happy to work at it, and
would in fact enjoy the challenge, but right now I dont think it is possible.
Thanks for any suggestions! Bye for now, Roger
