I'm currently testing an Outlook add-in called Auto-Mate, which supposedly
greatly improves the rules, gives you full control of the order in which
they are processed, etc. I haven't had it installed long enuf to tell you
for sure, but so far it seems to work well. I'll send you a link to my
review once I've completely tested it. Looks promising.

Subject: [mso] Re: How to organize my Outlook Rules?

======================
I am using OUTLOOK 2000 SP-3. I have set up over 100 rules to copy various
emails to folders, delete or forward other emails. The problem is all the
rules. Outlook doesn't provide a way to sort the list or resequence, or
view similar rules contents without opening each one by one.

Is there a way get at the rules more directly, or export to EXCEL, for
example?

If you find it ... anything ... I want to know about it.

I'm on Outlook 03 and still struggle with these things both because of the
number and because of the detail within each one.
