Linda-

I have no idea as to the cause, but it happens to me, though very rare.
Here is what I do:
1. Highlight EVERYTHING.
2. Change the font and the size to something you do NOT want.
3. Go back and highlight sections (not ALL) at a time and choose the font
and size you do want.

As I said, I do not know the cause- but I do know when it happens. It never
happens unless I open Star Office, highlight something, copy it, THEN open
Word and paste it.
If I have Word open first, then open Star Office, highlight something, and
copy it, then go back to Word, is +usually+ doesn't happen.

I am blaming Star Office, but I don't know what or why Star Office causes
it. At least, it is correctable, even if it is a pain the ___.

And yes, I know this is not a Star Office forum. I use Star Office because
of the shear number of documents I get in genealogy that were created in Star.
