excel. I went to conditional formatting, formula is =
=3DDATEVALUE(MONTH(A19)+6

the expression is true. Typed 3-11-05 into cell A19 and it will not =
turn
orange and bold. I also made sure it was formatted MM/DD/YY. =

The formula as it appears below will highlight anything during the month
concerned. It compares to the date itself but takes the day of the month
from today, if you see what I mean.
I've tested it here and it works for me.

8-11-04 the cell should highlight if the date is 03-(whatever day)-05 =

Be sure to read right to the bottom!
You can also do what you need to do to the names, too. In the =
conditional
formatting dialog, you need to change from 'cell' to 'formula' and add a
reference to the column which contains the date.
If you're completely new to conditional formatting, you might want to =
Google
for an introduction to the subject. I'm pretty sure you can find one at
Linda's ABC site.
