I am no longer an Outlook user, but I -think- it was this way:
1. If you have folders inside folders, start at the bottom most folder and
work your way up.
2. First EMPTY the folder by deleting all email in that folder.
3. Now highlight the folder itself, and press delete.
4. Repeat until the folders you want deleted is done.
Someone else will have to confirm this, but I have heard some users have
written VBA to keep a folder from being deleted. If this is the case, I bow
out and will let a VBA person help
