Hello there,
the easiest thing that pops into my mind is to right click your document and
chose "Open with" from the menu that pops chose the relevant Word Version that
you want to work with.
Or chose start then programs and then the version of Word that you want to work
with then open your documents. This should set this word version as the default
one I believe.
Hope this helps.
Genevieve

Subject: [mso] HELP---WORD 2007 REPLACED 2003

I had Word & Excel 2003...I understood it at a comfort level for my needs.
Someone sent me a Word document created in 2007 & I could not download the
converted. So, I went out & bought a copy of Student version 2007 &
installed it.
Big mistake! Everything opens up in Word & Excel 2007...all my spreadsheets
& documents. I took one look at Word 2007 & realized I should think about
taking a class in it. I wanted to find File > Print...and there is no File
to be found. I do not have the time to be trying to figure out this new
version, so I hoped that I could continue using Word & Excel 2003. I assist
a senior community with their computer issues & most all of them have Word
2003. Now when I send them something in Word they will not be able to open
it unless they try to get the converter or buy the program. I can assure
you they will not want to go for training just to use Word.

Is there a way that I can have both on my computer but using Word 2003 as
default? Or do I need to uninstall the student package of Word & Excel?

By the way, where would I find the option to do partial printing in Word
2007?

Please help,
Jan
