[mso] Getting last name out of a full name field

In Excel, I believe there is a way to pull a last name out of a field that
has a full name. Can anyone please tell me how to do this?

I have a very long list that has full names, but I cannot alphabetize it
unless I can extract the last names into a separate field.

Thanks.
