[mso] Re: Fw: Problem with Outlook 2003

It's definitely possible that stuck message is causing the problem. But,
you definitely shouldn't have to uninstall and reinstall Outlook to do that.

Go into Outlook's Tools>Options and turn off the feature that says to Send
mail automatically when connected. Then close Outlook ... Then try deleting
it again.

As far as attachments go, no you can't send them to the group. But you can
read the info in the footers of these messages and join the Files group and
upload the attachments there. Or, you can just open the attachments, Select
All, then copy/paste them into an email and send it to the group.

To find your pst file, go to your Start button and use Windows search
feature to find *.pst

Hi Linda:
So far, I have tried your suggestion. I ran two spyware programs (Ad-Aware
and Sptbot). Spybot found a couple of things and fixed them, but there was
no change. I also did your suggestion and clicked on "Manage" and some of
the red circles said the problem was "Microsoft Office 11" and not
"Outlook". In addition, I had to save the error message as an attachment,
and I did not think you wanted me to post that to the whole group. It is
hard to just pick out parts of it to include in this message but if there is
somewhere I can send it to with the attachment, please let me know. I
located the scanpst.exe file, but I could not locate the .pst file that it
wanted to search. I decided to look in Outlook again and I can see that
there is a message in my Outbox. When I try to click on it to open it (or
even delete it), I get the message "Can't open. Outlook has already begun
transmitting this message." Is there any way that I can get this message
deleted or removed from
the server, or would I have to do something like uninstall and then
reinstall Outlook? Is this the way to go about the problem at all, or could
it be something else altogether? The problem didn't start until Wednesday,
and that is the same date of the email that seems to be stuck in the server.
