    As we spin into OT hell ;-)

    XML and HTML are based on SGML, but XML is more closely based hence more 
open, where HTML is rigid. But where XML truly shines is being able to pass 
data on to others, no matter what program (most have caught up) or even 
platform they are using.

    XML use on the Web is just  small part of it. BTW, I'm curious, (if 
Linda don't squash us both, before you get to answer ;-) how can you abuse 
something, that was meant to be user defined?
