Victoria....FP can do it, but in my opinion, Atomz does it so much
better. And you can completely customize your search page so it matches
your site....and it's free
Here's the Atomz search page I have at my site...I don't think it looks
bad at all:

Try searching for something and see if you like the way it displays the
results.....you do have to deal with one little Atomz ad at the search
results page, but I don't find it offensive and I really like the way it
works and how easy it was to set up
Here's where you can get it:

Subject: [mso] Frontpage 2K-Search?
Is there a way with FP2K to create a search on a website and then create
a
results page?
Some background info, I have a site that I have set up for a childrens
roller hockey league for the last six years, I would like to add all the
archived stories and then set up a search so that a kid could search
against
his last name and see the stories that are affiliated with his\her name.
I'm
thinking that I would have to have some type of service running on the
server, but since the site is one of the freebie geocities, is there a
way
to do this??
