Just set a bunch up so this is how I do it might not be right but it worked

Be sure to put a section break in then when you click the header footer bar  you
need to unclick the icon to make it a new  set its about the fourth from the 
right
if I remember right!  It does work!  Then make your new header and footer setup
and don't forget to do the footer page numbers also like I do <g>
Now Dian will tell you how its done right!

--I've come across a problem, that I don't know how to solve. I'm using Office
XP, and trying to setup footers in Word. But for some unknown reason, it
keeps wanting to copy the same footers. They seem to be linked somehow. When
I edit the footer on the second page of a document, it copies the exact same
editing to the first set of footers on the first page!
