[mso] Footer Info Doesn't Propagate in Word 2002

Hi All,

Every month I create a newsletter by modifying the contents of the previous 
month's DOC file in Word 2002. I expect to manually update some of the info in 
the footer in three places: 1) the first page, 2) even pages, 3) odd pages. I 
do have Print Setup to permit three different treatments of the footer as 
described above.

For some reason, this month, I had to make the changes on each page of a 
ten-page document. The document does have several section breaks in it, but 
the page numbers are consecutive from 1 (not visible on the first page) 
through 10.

Can anyone guess why the change I made to the footer on page 2 didn't 
propagate to all even pages? Similarly, why didn't my change on page 3 
propagate to all odd pages?
