Drag it into the font window.  Or us the font windows File menu to install 
the new font.

No, Word's identifying the font name doesn't necessarily mean that it's 
already on your computer AFAIK.  It's just what Word has gone looking for. 
Windows will then allocate it something "appropriate".

PS.  Word shows you the font's name.  Its style (serif/non-serif, etc) is 
not shown.
