[mso] Re: Font Question

How did you check it in Word? Did you open a document that had the font
already in it, or did you open a new document and try to use it? If it is
able to be used in a new document in Word, the next thing I would try is to
print it from Word and see what you get.

Another thing to check: What kind of font is it? True type, Postscript, or
something else?

OK, I was in PowerPoint when I noticed the font defaulted to Arial, and I
click on Format Font and it says it isn't installed, but when I go into
Word, it IS installed and I can print the font from Word?

I was thinking it wasn't installed but it is in the font directory... and
just won't print from PowerPoint...

Any other ideas?

Camille,
The fonts need to be on the computer where you are viewing or playing the
presentation. If you have a copy of ShelleyAllegro you can install, do
that.
Otherwise, you will need to go back to the first computer and see if you
can
embed the font. Be aware that not all fonts are embeddable or shareable. If
this font turns out to be one of those, you will need to use another font.

Content-Type: text/plain;
        charset="us-ascii"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

I have a file that has a couple of different fonts. I copied the file to a
CD and put it on a new computer and am trying to print it. However, the
font is defaulting to Arial, but the font ShelleyAllegro is not printing.
when I click on the words that should be in shelleyallegro, it says
shelleyallegro, but it is not printing. and I'm using the same printer that
I used when it was created. the only thing different is I copied the files
from the old pc to this new pc.I haven't changed anything. strange.

Any suggestions?

Camille
