Robert (or anyone else), if you tried Jim's code, then be aware that
"=3D"
stands for a plain "=" sign.  An "=" on its own appears to represent a
newline character and "=20" seems to be a space at the end of a line.
(As I
recall, 20 is the Hex ASCII value for Space).

I wondered about the "3D" but I am not a VBA programmer. My VBA book is
on the desk and I am reading a few sections at a time. Thanks for
straightening that out.
