Thanks. The fix is in, and you should see no more extraneous characters
from me.

BTW, if anyone XP users are interested, you can open up a blank text
document (Notepad works fine), enter (or cut and paste) the following
lines into it, save it as 'InternetMailTextEncoding.reg', double-click to
open, and click 'Yes' when prompted.
