[mso] Re: FW: Welcome to list 'mso'

I don't know if anybody else replied to this at all so excuse me if this
duplicates other responses.
The .tmp files are what Excel and Word create as your working documents. So
long as the file is saved and closed properly the .tmp files will be closed
when the the final document is shut down and you should not need to delete
them at all. In fact you can cause damage by trying to delete a .tmp file
that is actively being worked on.

The only time you will find .tmp files staying is if the program crashes
before the file has been saved and closed.

This WILL NOT have only started recently, it's intrinsic to how the programs
work!
