Well, I hoped someone would give you a better answer, but what I recall is
that users can right-click on the Public Folder and view the Permissions
tab. The person who created the folder is almost always the "Owner"
permission level. I don't have Exchange Server running here at home, so I
can't test this out. But I hope it helps.

Any takers on this one? I'm sending it again because no responses yet
and I have an antsy client who is asking me for an answer. Thought
maybe there was someone out there who knew the answer but hadn't seen
the question the first time around.

Subject: [mso] Outlook 2002 and 2003 - public folders
Hi folks,
When using Outlook on an Exchange server, and using Public Folders for
shared contacts and calendars, is it possible to know who created an
item in a public folder? Like if someone wants to put something on the
shared calendar, would other people be able to open that item and know
who created it?
Thanks,
Elise
