Have you looked at the Link Table option? You will need to "link to", NOT
"import", the spreadsheet first with this.

Then you specify the linked Table as your Report data source in the normal
way, via a Query or otherwise depending on what you want in the Report.

I have an Access database that contains a form with a list box to open 
the needed report.  In order to save time and clicks, I wanted to know 
if there is a way to open a corresponding Excel Spreadsheet related to
