Sorry for the caps but I'm hoping those having problems uns*bscribing
will read this.....I received an answer from Freelists concerning why
people are not able to remove themselves from the list.  The weird thing
is when I remove them it works, but when they remove themselves, they
get a confirmation that they have been removed but continue to receive
the mail.  So, if you are having a problem uns*bbing, please reply to
this email and I will do it for you.....you MUST reply to this email so
I can see the email addie you are subbed under.  I apologize to the list
if this causes a lot of extra mail but it's the only way I know how to
get these poor people off this list.

Maybe Freelists has never had a list where so many people wanted out at
one time? Whatever the reason, they are as stumped by this as I am.  So,
reply to this mail and let me know if you want to unsub, go on digest
mode, or go on "vacation" (which is freelists' version of "no mail") and
I will do it for you ASAP  (tho I will be teaching today and away from
my computer for the next 6 hours or so), but I will get to it as soon as
I get back.

Here's what I heard from Freelists:

"Spooky, I was just checking up on your list and was looking at that...
I've never heard of this happening. I've turned up the debug level
site-wide, so maybe we'll get some more interesting logs. Let me know if

this happens again so I can do some hunting..."
