[mso] Re: Exporting Messages

Well...if you need the files as TXT, it'll be a PITA to change the
extensions, unless you have a code routine that'll rename it for ya?

But here's a trick I discovered years ago for getting email outta the email
app and into the world of file folders...it's a great way to archives the
individual files on a cd...or even use Greg's cataloger to put them all in a
Word table with hyperlinks so you can add keyword and sort them outside of
your email client...

Pull OL in so you can see your desktop. Right click your desktop and add a
new folder...maybe called emailExport?

Then open the folder you want, click inside it to get the focus on the
messages inside that folder. Hit Ctrl/A to select all...then right click and
DRAG them across OL and out on TOP of the folder until you see the folder
darken...to show it's been selected. Then release.

A copy of all those messages are now in a folder and you can deal with them
like regular files, versus stuck in an email app.

dummy, but although I can save an individual msg, but can't figure out
