[mso] Re: Exporting Messages

Linda-

There is a $50 utility available from Wicket.net called WN Mailkeeper. It
will convert the information in an Exchange Mailbox or a PST to individual
Outlook messages, maintaining the folder format. The entire mail archive can
then be written to a CD-ROM disc for backup. Messages can be opened directly
from the CD-ROM and will still contain the original formatting and any
attachments. You can copy Contacts, E-Mail, Calendar Items, etc.

When an agent in good standing leaves our company, we allow him/her to take
a CD containing all of their Outlook information with them.

Charles...the only way I know to save more than one message at a time is
to save them all in a txt file (in Outlook)....go into your inbox or
folder, click on one, hold shift and click on the last one....once they
are all selected, go into the File menu and choose Save As....and save
them...this puts them all in to one text file

Then you can rename this file in Windows with an eml extension....it
will open in OE....but, all the messages will be within one email, not
multiple emails

Ok, maybe I'm suffering from "what the heck?" syndrome, or just a plain
dummy, but although I can save an individual msg, but can't figure out
how to do that to ALL the messages! :-( Well, back to the drawing
board. <shrug>
