Not exactly. I'd like 2 letters, one for each person regardless of Combined or Address. Within the letters I may want to reference each person as long as Combined is the same. Then, I want the 2 letters inserted into the same 1 envelope as long as Combined is the same AND address is the same. Clear as mud isn't it? gl -----Original Message----- From: Linda Johnson [mailto:linda@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, May 09, 2002 1:23 PM To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Re: Excel or ??? So...do three separate merges....two form letters, one with just first name field included, one with just last name field...then do the envelopes with both included Linda Publisher ~ ABC ~ All 'Bout Computers Owner ~ Linda's Computer Stop www.personal-computer-tutor.com Author/Teacher ~ MS Office EBooks/Classes www.personal-computer-tutor.com/services.htm -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Glenda Wells Sent: Thursday, May 09, 2002 1:03 PM To: 'mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [mso] Re: Excel or ??? In the example, a mail-merge would produce 2 letters and 2 envelopes because Last/First are different. What we need is 2 letters reflecting Last/First but only one envelope reflecting Combined/Address. ************************************************************* PLEASE READ!!!!
