I think this worked! I have to work with how it looks exactly and need some
number clarification from my boss, but overall, I think it's what she
wanted.
Thanks!

Hi Pam,
I'm not convinced I've understood what you want to get, but here's a
possible solution (Maybe?)
A B C D E F
1 PJ PR AB CD EF
2 Old 2 5 7 2 3
3 New 3 5 5 6 5
Then hilight A1:F3, INSERT>CHART, Choose COLUMN> STACKED COLUMN, then
Finish.
Is that what you wanted, or is it more complicated? <grin>
Dave.

Okay, here's a booger of a question. I hope someone can help me.
I work at a university and our department is needing to show the number of
students that were on our old degree plans and those on our new degree
plans. This is how my boss wants it to look. She wants all this as a bar
graph, all on the same bar graph. She wants those getting a print journalism
degree on the old plan stacked on top of those getting the PJ degree with
the new plan. Right next to it, she wants the old Broadcast people stacked
on top of the new Broadcast people, the old PR people on top of the new,
etc. We have 4-5 majors to do this with.
I've got it drawn out how I want it. I've also tried putting the information
into excel and making the chart, but nothing is working.
Does anyone have a clue how I could set this up?
Thanks!
